Terms of use

1. Acceptance

Using the FantasyFencing website and app means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use the service. Use is personal and non-commercial.

2. The service

FantasyFencing is a fantasy game about fencing. You can create an account, pick athletes, enter predictions before deadlines, follow competitions and standings, and create or join private leagues with an invite code. The service is free and provided as is. We may change or suspend features, with notice when that is reasonable.

3. Account

You are responsible for activity on your account. You can sign in with Google or Apple. You can close the account from the app, under Settings.

4. Acceptable use

• You use the service for yourself, without reselling it or exploiting it commercially.
• You do not access other accounts and you do not interfere with the service.
• You do not submit false data, impersonate others, or post illegal, offensive or harassing content, including league names and images.
• You do not use bots or other unauthorised automated means.

5. Predictions and leagues

Predictions, names and other content you submit are your responsibility. Scoring follows the game rules and cannot be changed by the user. Invite codes are only for letting people join a league.

6. Intellectual property

FantasyFencing text, graphics, logos and software stay with their owners. Athlete names and results belong to the sources they come from. Copying or exploiting these elements outside personal use of the service is not allowed.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, FantasyFencing is not liable for indirect damage from using or being unable to use the service, including outages and loss of data.

8. Governing law

Italian law applies. Disputes with a consumer stay with the court of that person's place of residence or domicile, unless mandatory rules say otherwise.
